Central Harlem is the new construction of 72 rental and 48 homeownership units in Community Board 10 and 11 of the Central Harlem community that will be built by a partnership between Lemor Development Group and Iris Development. The 12 buildings, composed of 120 units, will be created throughout scattered sited that are owned by the city. Central Harlem will be financed by HPD, 9% tax credits, along with additional funding.
The rental units will house the formerly homeless as well as households earning between 30% and 80% AMI, while the homeownership portion of the project will provide housing for households earning between 80% and 130% AMI. All buildings will contain sustainability features in the form being built to Enterprise Green Communities Standards. Construction is slated to be completed in 2023.
